More than 30 years of experience in the commercialization of iron and steel.

Aceros Alcalde was founded in 1989 by the Alcalde family in the city of San Luis Potosí, and now has more than 30 years of experience in the commercialization of iron and steel. Throughout this time it has managed to position itself in the markets of construction, mining, industrial sector, metal fabrication, and blacksmithing.

TRAJECTORY

1989

ACEROS ALCALDE is born, starting operations with a warehouse located on the street of Laguna de Mayran, Col. San Luis Rey, in the city of San Luis Potosí.

1992

A second branch is opened, located on the Calzada de Guadalupe, Col. Tepeyac in the city of San Luis Potosí.

2003

The Head Office is changed to the South Peripheral Road in the city of San Luis Potosí, with great growth in capacity and storage.

2004

A fourth branch is opened on the street of Granjas, Col. Industrial Aviación in the city of San Luis Potosí, specializing in blacksmithing services.

2005

A fifth branch is opened in the supply center on José de Gálvez in the city of San Luis Potosí.

2006

We dabble in opening our first out-of-state branch, beginning operations in the city of Altamira, Tamaulipas.

2008

We open our first branch in the city of León, Guanajuato.

2009

The first CONSTRUALCALDE warehouse is opened, dedicated to selling construction materials.

2010

VIDALUSA is opened, dedicated to selling glass and aluminum.

2011

We open our first branch in the city of Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes.

2013

Our service center is created in the delegation of La Pila in the city of San Luis Potosí.

2015

We open our first branch in the city of Querétaro, Querétaro.

2016

The second CONSTRUALCALDE branch is opened in the supply center of the city of San Luis Potosí.

2017

One more branch is opened in Soledad de Graciano Sánchez, a municipality of SLP. In this same year, we open a second warehouse in the city of León, Guanajuato.

2017

The first ready-mix concrete plant, another CONSTRUALCALDE subsidiary is opened in the city of San Luis Potosí.

2018

We open a second warehouse in the city of Aguascalientes and also open another CONSTRUALCALDE branch in Ciudad Valles, SLP, in that same year.

2020

Our second service and distribution center in the city of Querétaro is opened. This same year, we begin operations with a warehouse in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco.

The plans for expansion continue since our founders are concerned about continuing to generate employment opportunities and increasing the quality of life of their employees.

The company is made up of a parent company and more than 14 branches, seven of them located around the city of San Luis Potosí, including one processing plant. The rest are located in the Bajío region in the following states: Tampico, Tamaulipas; León, Guanajuato; Aguascalientes, Ags; Querétaro, Qro; and Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco. All are dedicated to the commercialization of iron and steel.
